Yves De Maeseneer teaches fundamental theological ethics at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies, KU Leuven, Belgium. He is the coordinator of Anthropos, an interdisciplinary research group of theological ethicists and fundamental theologians developing a renewed theological anthropology. He is co-editor of Religious Experience and Contemporary Theological Epistemology (Leuven: Peeters, 2005), Questioning the Human: Toward a Theological Anthropology for the Twenty-First Century (New York: Fordham University Press, 2014), and the special section The Imago Dei: Evolutionary and Theological Perspectives (Zygon 49:1 [2014]). He published articles on Hans Urs von Balthasar, Theodor Adorno, sin and reconciliation, liturgy and ethics, theological anthropology, angelology and political theology.
