Wendy Zierler is Sigmund Falk Professor of Modern Jewish Literature and Feminist Studies at HUC-JIR in New York. Her new book, Going Out with Knots: My Two Kaddish / COVID Years with Hebrew Poetry, is forthcoming from JPS. She has authored and edited several books, including Movies and Midrash: Popular Film and Jewish Religious Conversation (National Jewish Book Award Finalist). Since 2017, she has served as Co-Editor of Prooftexts: A Journal of Jewish Literary History.
