Susie Paulik Babka
Susie Paulik Babka received the PhD in Systematic Theology from the University of Notre Dame. She is currently an Associate Professor in Theology and Religious Studies at the University of San Diego. She has published several articles exploring the relationship between art and theology, popular culture and religion, Buddhist-Christian dialogue, and the problem of suffering. Her monograph, Through the Dark Field: the Incarnation through an Aesthetics of Vulnerability, was published by Liturgical Press in 2017; in progress is Ambiguity and Resilience, a book exploring the role of art and the possibility of redemptive suffering in community resilience.
