Sonia Hazard is a historian of religion in America and a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Religious Studies at Franklin & Marshall College. Her work focuses on evangelical print media in the nineteenth-century United States, and addresses questions of materiality, text and image technologies, and the everyday. Her articles appear or are forthcoming in Religion and Society, Church History, Early American Studies, and the Journal of the American Academy of Religion.
