Shannon Smythe
Shannon Nicole Smythe is Assistant Professor of Theological Studies at Seattle Pacific University. She holds a PhD in Systematic Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary. She is an ordained ruling elder and a candidate for ordination to the office of teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA). She is the author of Women in Ministry: Questions and Answers in the Exploration of a Calling (Cascade, 2015) and Forensic Apocalyptic Theology: Karl Barth and the Doctrine of Justification (Fortress, 2016). She is interested in the intersections between dialectical theology, feminist theology, and apocalyptic theology.
