Scott Aikin is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Vanderbilt University, USA.  He specializes in epistemology, argumentation theory, ancient philosophy, and pragmatism.  He is the author of Epistemology and the Regress Problem, Why We Argue (with Robert Talisse), and Epictetus’s Encheiridion: A Guide and Commentary (with William O. Stephens).
