Rose Wu was one of the founding members and the general secretary of the Hong Kong Women Christian Council and served as the director of the Hong Kong Christian Institute from 2000 to 2007. She currently is teaching as a part-time lecturer on feminist theology, women’s ministry and sexual ethics at the Divinity School of Chung Chi College at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and serves as an advisor of the Queer Theology Academy. Her publications include Liberating the Church from Fear: The Story of Hong Kong’s Sexual Minorities and A Dissenting Church.
