Paul Cizek is a doctoral candidate in Judaism and Christianity in Antiquity at Marquette University and a graduate of Duke Divinity School (M.Div. 2009). His research focuses on the use and ethical functions of Pentateuchal laws and narratives in Second Temple Judaism as well as in American Christianity. He was awarded a 2020 Emerging Scholars Fellowship by the Catholic Biblical Association of America.
