Lissa Skitolsky
Lissa Skitolsky is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Susquehanna University. Her research in the fields of Continental philosophy and genocide studies aims to interrogate our cultural and political responses to state sanctioned violence and the suffering that follows. She is currently working on a manuscript titled Hip Hop as Philosophical Text and Testimony: Can I Get a Witness?, that illustrates the philosophical importance of underground rap music for critical race theory, cultural studies, trauma theory and genocide studies.
