Kathryn Getek Soltis is director of the Center for Peace and Justice Education and assistant professor of Christian Ethics in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at Villanova University.  Her research interests include virtue ethics, punishment, and Catholic Social Thought.  She is co-editor of Virtue and the Moral Life: Theological and Philosophical Perspectives (Lexington, 2014).  For over a decade, she has worked and volunteered in prisons in Boston and the Philadelphia area, including teaching at the college level and serving as lay chaplain for a Catholic prison ministry.
