Justin Sands is a postdoctoral fellow at North-West University (South Africa). He received his PhD in theology at KU Leuven in 2015, his research is in both theology and philosophy, and his work focuses on the critique of metaphysics, hermeneutic phenomenology, and the relation between theory and praxis. He is currently working on his second PhD at the University of Fort Hare (South Africa), which will bring African philosophy and decolonial thought into dialogue with Martin Heidegger and early twentieth-century phenomenology.
