John Harfouch is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Alabama-Huntsville. In addition to authoring Another Mind-Body Problem, he has written several articles on Arab identity, orientalism, and racism in philosophy. He is also the founder of The Society for Anticolonial Middle Eastern and North African Thought, an organization facilitating discussion of contemporary Arab life, identity, and political movements.
