Joel Carpenter
Joel A. Carpenter is the director of the Nagel Institute for the Study of World Christianity at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is editor or co-editor of three recent books: Walking Together: Christianity and Public Life in South Africa, Christianity and Chinese Public Life: Religion, Society and the Rule of Law, and Christian Higher Education: A Global Reconnaissance.
