Jasmin Figueroa is a second year doctoral student at Boston University School of Theology. She is being trained in the field of practical theology, with an emphasis on church and society, and is interested in the ways that former and current Christians of color renegotiate identity and cultivate trauma-informed communities that are equipped to respond to the systemic injustices that they face. She originally hails from the Bronx, New York.
