Cristin McKnight Sethi is Director of Education at The Textile Center, a national center for fiber art in Minneapolis. She holds a Ph.D. in Art History from UC Berkeley and has taught at George Washington University and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Dr. McKnight Sethi serves on the editorial board of The Textile Museum Journal and works closely with indigenous making communities in her role as Chair of the Selection Committee for the International Folk Art Market in Santa Fe. She has published widely on topics related to textiles, especially folk and popular textiles from South Asia.
