Carolin Ahlvik-Harju

Carolin Ahlvik-Harju, ThD, wrote her doctoral thesis The Invisible Made Visible. A Feminist Disability Theology (2016) on prenatal testing, human dignity and disability, and at present she is a postdoctoral researcher in systematic theology at Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland. Currently she is working in a research project on vaccine attitudes, in which she studies questions relating to conceptions of health, parenthood and identity construction from an ethical and gender perspective. Previous research has largely been focused on disability theology and reproductive ethics.
