Bruce N. Waller (Ph. D., UNC-Chapel Hill) recently retired after better than four very satisfying decades of teaching philosophy, primarily at Youngstown State University. In addition to a few dozen articles, he is the author or a number of textbooks, anthologies, and monographs, including Against Moral Responsibility (2011), The Stubborn System of Moral Responsibility (2015), The Injustice of Punishment (2018), and Free Will, Moral Responsibility, and the Desire to Be a God (2020). His latest book, The Deep Roots of American Neoliberalism, will be published in April.
