Amirah Orozco is a PhD Student in the Department of Theology at the University of Notre Dame. She is interested in feminist and decolonial theologies, particularly in Latin American and theology produced by Latine people in the US. Her research has focused on feminista and mujerista theologians and their activism and the connections they forge, theologically and historically, between social movements of their times and more explicit ecclesial communities.
