
Alberto Urquidez
Alberto Urquidez is an assistant professor of philosophy and religion at James Madison University. Urquidez researches contemporary theories of racism and has written a monograph, (Re-)Defining Racism: A Philosophical Analysis (Palgrave Macmillan, 2020), that critically assesses contemporary philosophical approaches to racism. He is currently working on a conceptual framework for analyzing racism as a system of racial oppression; additionally, he is writing an introductory book on the philosophy of racism.
