Alain Epp Weaver directs strategic planning for Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). He previously worked in Palestine with MCC for 11 years, living in the Jenin district of the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem. His publications include States of Exile: Visions of Disapora, Witness, and Return and, as editor, Under Vine and Fig Tree: Biblical Theologies of Land and the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict.
