Ailie Posillico is a graduate student in the Theology and Religious Studies Department at Villanova University. She is a scholar of medieval Western Christian European history, gender and sexuality, and narratives of sanctity. Currently, she is working on her dissertation, which centers on the letters of a loosely affiliated group of medieval German religious devotees known as “The Friends of God.”
