Yael Almog

Yael Almog is Assistant Professor at the School of Modern Languages and Cultures at Durham University. Previously, she held research positions in Berlin, Göttingen and Frankfurt am Main. In several publications, she examines textual exegesis as ingrained in confessional belonging and challenges the modern presumption that literary interpretation is indifferent to religious concerns. She is working on a new book about German-Jewish immigrants and their reminiscences to Europe as a lost homeland for Jews.
