Travis Cooper is a PhD candidate in anthropology and religious studies at Indiana University. His research interests and approaches include method and theory in the study of religion, discourse analysis, critical ethnography, digital anthropology, and social theory. Alongside writing a dissertation on the boundary maintenance strategies of emerging evangelical communities after the New Media turn, Travis currently serves as an editorial assistant for the Journal of the American Academy of Religion and lectures at Butler University.
