Tim Gloege is a historian and author of Guaranteed Pure: the Moody Bible Institute, Business, and the Making of Modern Evangelicalism (University of North Carolina Press, 2015). He lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he serves as a librarian in the History and Special Collections Department of the Grand Rapids Public Library. He has published essays in a variety of popular and scholarly venues, including Rewire.News, Reading Religion, Religion and American Culture: A Journal of Interpretation, and Church History: Studies in Christianity and Culture.
