Stephen Schloesser, SJ, received his doctorate in history and humanities from Stanford University in 1999. Currently Professor and Chair in the Department of History at Loyola University Chicago, his most recent publication is a volume coedited with Kyle B. Roberts, Crossings and Dwellings: Restored Jesuits, Women Religious, American Experience, 1814–2014 (Brill, 2017).
