Simon Reader
Simon Reader is Associate Professor of English at the College of Staten Island, CUNY. His first book, Notework: Victorian Literature and Nonlinear Style, theorizes the Victorian writer’s notebook as a genre. He is currently working on two new projects, one about Roland Barthes and social media, the other (with Gerard Cohen-Vrignaud) about performances of bitchiness from the nineteenth century to the present.
