Shmuel Lederman

Shmuel Lederman holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Haifa, Israel. He teaches in the Department of History, Philosophy and Judaic Studies at the Open University of Israel, and in the Weiss-Livnat International MA Program in Holocaust Studies at the University of Haifa. His research interests include the political thought of Hannah Arendt, Leo Strauss, and John Stuart Mill, as well as genocide studies and the Israeli-Arab conflict. He is currently working on a book on Hannah Arendt and participatory democracy, to be published by Palgrave Macmillan.
