Sarah Barton

Sarah Jean Barton is a Th.D. student at Duke Divinity School and a practicing Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Duke University Health System. Her research probes the intersection of theology and disability, specifically exploring participation in Christian sacramental practices and this participation’s relationship to theological anthropology. Her theological work is informed by engagement with the field of disability studies. Sarah has an M.T.S. from Duke Divinity School and an M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Boston University.
