Sean Larsen (sean@syndicate.network) is the managing editor of Syndicate and Assistant Teaching Professor of Theology at Marquette University. He is currently completing a manuscript that shows how Augustine’s views on God, the self, Christ, eternity, sexuality, and politics were shaped by the Roman distinction between the city and the household.
