Dr. Regula M. Zwahlen is the scientific director of the Sergii Bulgakov Research Center at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. She is coeditor of the German edition of the Russian Orthodox theologian Sergij Bulgakov’s work and of the journal Religion & Gesellschaft in Ost und West (RGOW). She has published on Russian intellectual history, Russian and Soviet concepts of personality, Orthodox human rights discourse, and political theology.
