Rafael Rodríguez

Rafael Rodríguez is Professor of New Testament at Johnson University in Knoxville, TN, USA, where he teaches courses on the New Testament literature, koinē Greek, and Second Temple Judaism. His most recent book, Jesus Darkly: Remembering Jesus with the New Testament (Abingdon Press, 2018), traces the various ways the NT authors remembered Jesus. His Ph.D. is from the University of Sheffield (UK). His research has focused on questions of early Christian tradition, especially on the interface between Hebrew biblical tradition and the stories from and about Jesus, as well as on Paul’s letter to the Romans.
