Philip McCosker is the Director of the Religion and Theology research programme at the Institute for Religion and Critical Inquiry, where he is leading (with Judith Wolfe and Stephan van Erp) a five year international research project on ‘theologies of catholicity’. Until 2020 he was Director of the Von Hügel Institute for Critical Catholic Inquiry and Vice-Master of St Edmund’s College in the University of Cambridge. Having edited a volume on biblical interpretation and reception, What is it that the Scriptures say? (2006), and co-edited (with Denys Turner) The Cambridge Companion to the Summa Theologiae (2016), his next book will be Christ the Paradox: Expanding Ressourcement Christology (forthcoming 2024).
