Peter Ochs

Peter Ochs (Ph.D. Yale; M.A. Jewish Theological Seminary) is Edgar Bronfman Professor of Modern Judaic Studies at the University of Virginia, where he also directs Religious Studies graduate programs in “Scripture, Interpretation, and Practice” — an interdisciplinary approach to the Abrahamic traditions and more. He is co-founder of the (Abrahamic) Society for Scriptural Reasoning. He has authored, co-authored or co-edited a number of books including Another Reformation: Postliberal Christianity and the JewsThe Jewish-Christian Schism Revisited;Peirce, Pragmatism, and the Logic of ScriptureReviewing the Covenant: Eugene B.
