Penelope Geng is Assistant Professor of English at Macalester College. She specializes in Shakespeare, law and literature, law and emotions, Reformation studies, and performance. She is completing her first book entitled Communal Justice in Early Modern Drama. Her most recent article is “Jurisprudence by Aphorisms: Francis Bacon and the ‘Uses’ of Small Forms,” Law, Culture and the Humanities (2019).
