Oliver Davies
Oliver Davies is Emeritus Professor of Christian Doctrine at King’s College London. He spent two years teaching at the University of Cologne before returning to lecture in theology in the University of Wales. He was Visiting Professor at the University of Virginia in 2002 and 2003, and at the Pontifical Gregorian University at Rome in 2006-7. He joined King¹s as Professor of Christian Doctrine in 2004. Oliver Davies was President of the Society for the Study of Theology from 2007-8. He currently works on new thinking around the human, in the light of contemporary science, in ways that cross the secular-religious divide. He currently holds an International Research Chair at Renmin University of China, in Science, Philosophy and Ethics.
