Neelofer Qadir is Assistant Professor of English and International & Global Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She also holds an affiliate appointment in the Program of African American and African Diaspora Studies. During AY2022-23, she is an Institute of Citizens & Scholars Career Enhancement Fellow. Currently, she is working on her first book, Afrasian Imaginaries: Global Capitalism in Indian Ocean Worlds. Her publications appear in Comparative Literature and Eastern African Literary and Cultural Studies among other venues.
