Monique Rooney is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Literature, Languages and Linguistics at the Australian National University. The editor of Australian Humanities Review, she has published widely in the areas of US Literature, film and television and Australian literature and film. Her most recent publication, which includes two chapters on AMC’s Mad Men, is Living Screens: Melodrama and Plasticity in Contemporary Film and Television (Rowman and Littlefield International, 2015).
