Michael Clifford

Michael Clifford is Professor of Philosophy in the Philosophy and Religion Department at Mississippi State University.  His research interests include political philosophy and Continental philosophy, especially the work of Michel Foucault.  He has published three books on the intersection between the two, Savage Identities:  Political Genealogy After Foucault (2001), Empowerment:  The Theory and Practice of Political Genealogy (2013), and an edited collection of essays, Beyond Foucault:  Excursions in Political Genealogy (2018).
