Mark Fagiano earned his Ph.D. from Emory University and is currently teaching philosophy at the University of Central Florida. He has created and published works on empathy and has won an international award for his own unique theory, what he calls “relational empathy.” Putting this theory to work, Mark is currently creating interactive virtual reality experiences for members of healthcare organizations so that they can apply the vital skills of empathic care during their daily interactions with patients and co-workers.
