Margaret D. Kamitsuka is the Francis W. and Lydia L. Davis Professor Emeritus of Religion at Oberlin College. She is author of Unborn Bodies: Resurrection and Reproductive Agency (Fortress, 2023) and the forthcoming Desirable Belief: A Theology of Eros (Fortress, 2024). Her other publications include Abortion and the Christian Tradition: A Pro-choice Theological Ethic (WJK, 2019) and Feminist Theology and the Challenge of Difference (OUP, 2007). She edited The Embrace of Eros: Bodies, Desires, and Sexuality in Christianity (Fortress, 2010). Kamitsuka serves as the book editor for the American Academy of Religion’s Academy Series. She and co-editor Rebecca Todd Peters completed a textbook titled the T & T Clark Reader in Abortion and Religion: Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Perspectives (Bloomsbury, 2023).
