Lisa Beyeler-Yvarra is pursuing her PhD in Religious Studies at Yale University, where she is a Graduate Fellow at the Yale Center for the Study of Race, Indigeneity, and Transnational Migration. Working at the nexus of religion, race, and the built environment, Lisa’s research foregrounds the built environment as a conceptual and historical lens to examine the spatial manifestations of religious and racial imaginaries in urban landscapes.
