Leonardo F. Lisi is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature at Johns Hopkins University. He is the author of Marginal Modernity: The Aesthetics of Dependency from Kierkegaard to Joyce (2013) and is currently completing a book entitled: Modern Tragedy and the End of Worlds: George Lillo to Samuel Beckett.
