Kari Telle
Kari Telle is social antropologist and researcher at the Chr.Michelsen Institute (CMI) in Bergen, Norway. She works on the ‘politics of faith’ focusing on the legal regulatin of religion, religious minorities, militias, conflict and local justice in Indonesia. She is co-editor of Contemporary Religiosities: Emergent Socialities and the Post-Nation State (2010) and recently co-edited the special issue Performing the State (2016) on religious militias in Southeast Asia.
