Karen Bray

Karen Bray is the Chair of Religious Studies and Philosophy Department at Wesleyan College. She is an Assistant Professor and hold degress from B.A. (Liberal Arts), Eugene Lang College of New School University 2005; M.Div. Harvard Divinity School 2010; Ph.D. (Theological and Philosophical Studies in Religion) Drew University 2016.

Her research areas include continental philosophy of religion; feminist, critical disability, critical race, queer, political, and decolonial theories and theologies; and secularism and the postsecular. I am particularly interested in exploring how secular institutions and cultures behave theologically.
