Joshua Mauldin is Associate Director of the Center of Theological Inquiry in Princeton, New Jersey. He holds a PhD in religious ethics from Southern Methodist University, and his research interests include the ethics of Karl Barth and Dietrich Bonhoeffer, law and religion, and comparative understandings of religious freedom. He is author of Barth, Bonhoeffer, and Modern Politics (Oxford University Press, forthcoming), co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of Reinhold Niebuhr (Oxford University Press, forthcoming), and co-editor of Theology as Interdisciplinary Inquiry: Learning with and from the Natural and Human Sciences (Eerdmans, 2017). His research has been published in scholarly journals such as the Oxford Journal of Law and Religion, Political Theology, and the Journal of Law and Religion.
