Joseph Rivera is a lecturer (tenured) in systematic theology at Dublin City University, Ireland, in the School of Theology, Philosophy, and Music. He is the author of the Contemplative Self after Michel Henry (Notre Dame University Press, 2015) as well as the co-translator of Didier Franck’s Flesh and Body: On the Phenomenology of Husserl (Bloomsbury, 2014). He is near completion of a monograph on political theology, which combines insights from St. Augustine and John Rawls, to be released by Palgrave MacMillan.
