Jessica Coblentz is an assistant professor in the Department of Religious Studies and Theology at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, where her teaching and research focus on Catholic systematic theology, feminist theologies, and mental health in theological perspective. She is the author of Dust in the Blood: A Theology of Life with Depression (Liturgical Academic), and the coeditor of The Human in a Dehumanizing World: Reexamining Theological Anthropology and Its Implications (Orbis). Her essays have appeared in several edited volumes, popular venues, and academic journals, including the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion, which recently recognized Coblentz as the first-place winner of the 2022 Elisabeth Schüssler Fiorenza New Scholars Award. She earned her PhD in systematic theology from Boston College.
