Falguni A. Sheth is professor of Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies at Emory University. Her books include Unruly Women: Race, Neocolonialism, and the Hijab (Oxford 2022) and Toward a Political Philosophy of Race (SUNY Press 2009). Her research is in social contract theory, race, and violence; methodologies of critical race theory; anticolonial studies; and transnational and postcolonial feminist theory. Sheth co-organizes the California Roundtable for Philosophy and Race and she has written for multiple public forums.
