Emma Brodeur

Emma M. Brodeur is the Phyllis Backer Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor of Jewish Studies in the Department of Religion at Syracuse University. She holds a Ph.D. in Religion from Syracuse University. Her research and teaching inhabit the intersections of religion, philosophy, and psychoanalysis, and she is currently working on a book on a theory of modern Jewishness on the basis of dream-work in Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis.
