Elisabeth Vasko
At the heart of Dr. Vasko’s theological project are efforts to facilitate civic engagement in the academy, classroom, and larger community in a socio-religious habitus marked by systemic moral ignorance and structural violence. In particular, she focuses on the silent complicity of the majority with contexts marked by white supremacy and gender-based violence in the Western Christian milieu. Her work also appears in Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion, Feminist Theology, Teaching Theology & Religion, Concilium, the Journal of Religion, and the Journal of the Society of Christian Ethics. Dr. Vasko is an Associate Professor of Theology at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.
